who we are

We are Mangostone - a creative hub in the heart of Bristol - set up by Tony Tarquini and Laurens Nockels in 2017. After spending over 25 years working in the film and television industries making props, sets and models, art directing and project managing they decided it was time to start a company of their own combining their strengths. So they set up the kind of workshop they would want to work in and a business that puts people first.

Mangostone was founded on these key principles:

  • We are collaborators not competitors

  • We pay our workers properly, we are supportive and flexible

  • We provide a healthy, safe and stimulating environment for work

  • We value and respect our clients

  • We are transparent about costs and choices

  • We welcome feedback

  • We want a workforce which represents the full diversity of the community

  • We recycle, we reduce waste and we use biodegradable materials whenever we can

  • We are committed to the research and development of sustainable technologies and materials.

At Mangostone we want to bring out the best in people and we are committed to being creative and playful and making exciting things happen.
